Upper Deck Welcomes New Head Chef
Mures Tasmania is pleased to announce the appointment of Markella Koutalidi to succeed Eugene Burgo as Head Chef of Mures Upper Deck. Eugene is returning to his home state of Victoria after successfully leading the Upper Deck kitchen for many years. He and Markella will continue to collaborate in the coming weeks to ensure a smooth and seamless experience for guests and the team.
Markella brings over 10 years of culinary experience from around the world. Originally from Greece, Markella has held previous positions in Michelin Star restaurants Pétrus (England) - owned by Gordon Ramsey, The Fat Duck (England) – run by chef proprietor Heston Blumenthal and Spondi (Greece).
