Welcome at Kelp Bar
Begin your celebration with a relaxed waterfront gathering at Kelp Bar. This intimate space offers the perfect setting to welcome your guests, enjoy a drink together, and set the tone for the evening ahead.
With capacity for up to 50 guests, Kelp Bar provides a warm and inviting atmosphere for pre-reception drinks and canapés.
Guests can enjoy a curated selection of beverages, including signature His & Hers cocktails, sparkling wine, beer, and cider. A range of canapé options is available, from refined petite selections to more substantial offerings, allowing you to tailor the experience to your style.
Reception in Mures Upper Deck
As your celebration progresses, guests will move into the Upper Deck, your private dining and reception space, offering sweeping views over Hobart’s harbour.
Designed to accommodate 80 to 100 guests, the Upper Deck is perfectly suited to a range of wedding styles, including long banquet dining or elegant alternate drop service. The space transitions effortlessly from dining to speeches, and later into an evening of dancing and celebration.

At the heart of every Mures wedding is an exceptional dining experience. Our culinary team celebrates seasonal Tasmanian produce and can tailor your dining experience to suit your vision. While we are renowned for our premium seafood offering, we are equally able to curate menus that do not include seafood to suit your preference. Dining options include:

Live music, DJs, and acoustic performers can be incorporated into your evening, with entertainment options available from 8pm onwards. Our team will work alongside your chosen suppliers to ensure a smooth and coordinated experience.

Capacity & Layout Options
Mures Upper Deck is designed to offer both flexibility and comfort for your guests.
Kelp Bar accommodates up to 50 guests for pre-reception gatherings, while the Upper Deck hosts 80 to 100 guests for seated dining and celebration.
A dedicated dance floor area can be incorporated into your layout, with configurations carefully designed to balance dining, entertainment, and guest experience. Our events team will assist in creating a floor plan that aligns with your vision and guest numbers.
Venue Hire & Investment
Your wedding at Mures includes exclusive all-day access to the venue, allowing ample time for styling, setup, and preparation.
Venue hire is offered at $7,000, inclusive of setup.
Minimum food and beverage spends apply and vary seasonally, ensuring flexibility across different times of year. Our team will provide clear guidance and support in planning a package that aligns with your budget and expectations.
